When it comes to purchasing an Ormsby CustomShop guitar, we offer truly one-of-a-kind instruments. These Customs are entirely handcrafted by Perry and his specialized team in our Perth workshop. Each instrument is created according to the exact specifications of the customer, with unlimited customization possibilities. We use only select woods and the highest quality components to ensure that every CustomShop guitar is a masterpiece of lutherie, finished with the best products available on the market.

FACTORY CUSTOM

Just like when you order an Ormsby CustomShop Guitar,
our Factory Customs are hand crafted from scratch in
our Perth warehouse; the only difference being is the
amount of customisable options you have to choose from.
Rather than going through the complete CustomShop design
process where every shape, material, style and finish is
meticulously designed to your specifications, introducing
a line of Factory Customs allows us to build your dream
guitar with a shorter waiting period as we give you the
guidelines to choose what you want.

FACTORY CUSTOM ORDERS
HOW IT WORKS:
1 - Select your model; We currently have our Hype and
Goliath models available to order as Factory Customs.
2 - Choose the finish style from the series we're currently
offering such as our Black Friday range. Any available options
will be made clear at the time of ordering.
3 - Select your woods we have available for your specific
model type.
4 - Choose the finishing touches which will include options
like the colour, hardware, amount of switches/ knobs, which
pickups etc. All options and prices will be available on the
order form.
5 - Pay your deposit and we'll take care of the rest. Once
you have placed your order, our team will be in touch with you
to finalise any details. We expect Factory Custom builds to be
completed in approximately 6-9months from your final design
confirmation.

*** Please note that modifications to the body shape, scale and
overall core design of the base model are not available when
purchasing a Factory Custom build.* Our Factory Customs are
every bit as exciting as our CustomShop models, and you will
still receive a high quality, handcrafted Ormsby from our Perth
workshop.

FACTORY STANDARD

When we moved into our new factory space in mid-2022, we had a vision that has finally come to life! What if we could create the ultimate Ormsby hybrid that combines an outstanding production guitar with our own in-house Aussie quality that you'd usually only find in a custom?

Factory Standard Launch

- Launched at NAMM, April 2023 -

Factory Standard guitars will be announced in small batches. However, unlike our Factory Custom and Custom Shop guitars, there will be no customizable options to choose from with this range.

When a new Factory Standard range is ready to be released, we will announce the available model, strings, specs, color, and pricing, then orders will open! These guitars will be given an estimated timeframe for completion, and manufacturing will begin.

We have selected our popular Hypemachine to be the first model offered in the Factory Standard range, with Goliath joining the lineup in the future.

THE MODELS

The Factory Standard range will be available in 3 tiers; each with different specs, price and colour range. As the first drop is the Hypemachine model, these will be H1, H2 and H3 and will change to suit the applicable model in future. Each tier will be available in a variety of colours to choose from, and your choice of 6 or 7 string options. As always, full specs, pricing and info will be on each guitar's product page in the webstore.

In addition to the Hypemachine models, we now also offer the KASEKI models with color options K1, K2, and K3, as well as the Roxy models with color options R1, R2, and R3.

Color Descriptions

Each tier across all model lines follows a consistent color/finish pattern:

Tier 1 (H1, K1, R1) - Solid colour, satin finish

Tier 2 (H2, K2, R2) - Transparent colour over Swamp Ash

Tier 3 (H3, K3, R3) - Exotic Flame Maple

No matter which model you choose—Hypemachine, KASEKI, or Roxy—you'll find these consistent finish options available throughout the range, each showcasing the specific character of that particular guitar design.

PERRY'S CHOICE

We recommend keeping an eye on the webstore for a rare, third type of custom build that we call Perry's Choice that occasionally pops up.

These are complete ready-to-purchase one-of-a-kind builds as chosen by Perry. These are rare, don't appear often, and are basically whatever the man in charge feels like building. He will select every element, build it, and the finished product is what will be available for sale.

Every custom instrument we produce is the forging of ideas between luthier Perry Ormsby and our clients to create a unique piece that is tonally rich, aesthetically stunning, and plays like no other guitar.
